Temptations, these temporary limitations,
An elevation of my many dissolutions,
In a mind with a life in own,
A dream so far away from reality


Words collide - Passions fly

Logics collide - science overtakes

Visions collide - Art engulfs

Love collides - hate outshines


Wicked or weird the callings of the dark,
Fallen or risen from our unknown maker,
A life to live if not but a dream,
Heaven and earth but all the same.

Love holds no pleasure for those untamed,
It’s a parasite, spreading disease and hungry to kill.
Love, Spreading filth in a beautiful world,
Truly inspired and defined by unfeigned lust.

Fear holds no grounds for those untamed,
Their fury burns any spirit that may rise.
Fear, Liberating those very hopelessly lost souls,
Disguised and living in search of love.

Faith holds no purpose for those untamed,
And luck is for those frightfully ignorant.

Celebrate life...in all its form, in all its name.
There is no tomorrow if there is not a today,
And nothing is gonna stay the same as yesterday.
This Life is all you got, to call to your own; so live..

Doors

All around in circles and squares,
In every laughter, in every pain,
These battered souls search for their doors,
With the unmarked key, in search of their homes.

Home is not anywhere they hang their hats,
It may not even be through the door up the stairs,
The hollow key they hold, shows no map, no signs,
Nor do their minds in this comic suspense.

So excluded from their waiting nest,
They seek pleasure in flesh and sweat,
Drowning away their emotions one by one,
In a web of illusions they call out their truth.

Tangled with riddles of love,
Lust, fear, pleasure and all they call life,
Forgetting their search, forgetting the doors,
That take them back to their homes.

Knowing not any longer one from the other,
Blinded by the lights of life,
These ghosts run in circles and square,
Forgetting to look beyond themselves.

A Shadow to Love

Feels like I have been out here forever,
Awake all day and all night,
Drifting with the voices in my head,
Knowing not if today is a dream or reality.

I value lesser this new world around me ,
Its words, Its ways, Its desires,
A crypt holding dear my insanity,
Untouched by the madness surrounding me.

Beaten down by the routine of days,
Dreams mount higher than clouds high above,
Somewhere ahead into the light,
I look for the darkness to clear my eyes.

I forget how it felt to be loved,
As I give away move than this world demands,
I fade slowly into the brightness all around,
With not a shadow near to hold my name.

I preach tonight, like the many before me;
Without a candle to see my face,
With only one message to be told:
‘Silence! my fellow beings,
Is in all your dreams to come'.

The nights speaks lesser tonight,
Of the lessons forgotten so very soon,
The heads turn away and the smiles grow slim,
Words of passion, Words of honor, words in all,
Heard less strong in a weakening dream.

The good times; always another reach away,
Enough no longer an option,
As whispers fill shadows with expectations,
Entertained by desires once condemned,
Unfolding into a final disappointment.

The nights to go, the dreams to stay,
Count not up, count not down,
For nobody is sane, it’s been told:

Distant Thoughts

Staring into the hill tops far ahead,
She sat, reticent, on the leather seat.
While the traffic in the background buzzed on,
She shifted in hope to a more comfortable position.
As time stood still in conscience,
Her thoughts refused to wane.


In a slow relaxed motion, she reached out,
Held my hands in a gentle grasp.
“Ti voglio bene" She mumbled in her accented Italian,
Then receded back into her deep thoughts.
Even the loud music glaring from the car stereo,
Now seemed distant as those hill tops up ahead.


Her trance broke, trying to focus, she forced a smile,
Her beauty unparallel, that innocence said all.
I forced my eyes back onto the road,
The road up ahead now looked very different.
Headed for our separate destinations somewhere far away,
Silence spread around, in our minds into our thoughts.

Inevitable

I'm tempted to take this plunge,
Could be my most spectacular failure yet.
This was not by any given choice,
Nobody really chooses who they fall in love with.

I'll bet my everything on a single possibility,
If she loves me, she will say she does.
It's hard to determine what emotions are valid,
How they're justified or when they're just mistakes.

One bad decision inevitably leads to another,
Yet one good one rarely to another.
I search for words to fill the emotions,
I wait for her love to share my feelings.

A Song For The Unknowns

In the witching hour when only the devil listens,
I think of you and I think of me.
My thoughts splitting the amazing wave,
Racing and riding the coming darkness.

It's been long since it happened last,
Indulgence into my body and mind.
As others detach from everything around,
I unite into the surroundings hidden.

Reminding myself not to forget the questions,
Looking out for what I am to correct?
Knowing well there is nothing here,
But the thoughts hidden in others minds.

Into midnight as sanity sleeps,
Ask aloud for my madness and I shall show,
Mystical and deep, you'll be touched,
Sometimes I call it wisdom..Sometimes poetry.

Tonight as rhythm sleeps,
I shall sing in praise of all the unknowns,
Behind the shadows and in the light,
Calling it a song riddled in fear.

Reality , such a myth
Hidden deep within realms,

Everything held and everything to be held,
Makes no dent on this hidden myth.

Such cruelty, in the name of reality,
A false sense of security,
A broken sense of existence.

Real to none but its own reality,
Living up to its own myth,
Its stands like truth yet to be understood.

Memories of the many beginnings,
Some we remember, some we don't.

With all the old vanishing angles,
New circles and new functions arise,
Waiting for none , not even the one.

New boundaries to many questions,
Going on and on like a storm,
Breaking all that seemed clear.

No signs of decline,
In your head, nor in mine.
So then what's to fear?

I sit on my chair,
My head tilted to the left,
Opening my eyes to the light.

Hanging on to whats seen right,
I ponder about everything,
Through the eyes of everyone,
I have met in the past months.

I dont understand their words.
I dont understand their hurdles.

I dont understand their truth.

Yet somewhere in my future,
Is an answer I hope to understand.

Moments of confusion, in and around,
Stacked up higher and higher, above the other,
All came rolling down, in one little tear drop,
As her voice broke with a pinch of sorrow.

Still trying to find her own stand,
Abstract to all those things combined,
Her intentions, her emotions, her memories ,
Wishing against those morning, waking all alone.

Perceptions of my human mind,
Those from her words spoken in such trust,
Some strange feelings, some others even stranger,
Left me holding her on closer than ever.

I am plagued with the unknown
Living and breathing, waiting for reality,
To magically appear, from under my nose,
And set aside a fear, that’s only in my head.


Limited by the stroke of my thoughts
I write these words in paragraphs,
Beginning, middle and end,
Already set deep in my mind.


I'll move to breaking down the scenes,
Those that are crucial, for my preaching insanity,
Going back through to connect the dots,
Only to abandon it, thirty words into my story.


Nothing said, nothing to be said,
This is my new plan,
Thus far, it is not working,
But all is well here, this is another year.
